SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Canadian orders will be shipped via Ground and delivered through Canpar.

US orders will have the option to be shipped via Ground or Expedited and delivered through UPS.

International orders will be delivered express through DHL Express.

All orders Ground or Express will be sent with a tracking number once dispatched from the warehouse.

For order pick-ups, please wait to receive confirmation before visiting the factory.

Orders to PO boxes will not be accepted.

 

DUTIES & TAXES

Orders shipped outside of Canada or the U.S.A. may/will be subject to applicable taxes, duties and/or import fees by your local government.  We have no up-front knowledge of these fees.  The carrier will attempt to collect these fees at the time of delivery.  Should they be unable to collect these fees, the shipment will be abandoned and you will not be eligible for a refund.  Please research what import fees are applicable in your country before placing orders.

For USA Customers 

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).  We supply a Certificate of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the USA that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees or disbursements that are payable however the duties are not. Please do not pay any duties as we will be unable to help you recover any payments you make in that regard. Please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you if you are charged these fees.

For UK Customers

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-UK Trade Continuity Agreement (Canada-UK TCA, CUKTCA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the UK that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and VAT that are payable however the duties are not.  Please do not pay any duties as we will be unable to help you recover any payments you make in that regard.  If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you prior to delivery as these should not be paid.

For EU Customers

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-European Union Trade Agreement (CETA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the European Union that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and taxes that are payable however the duties are not.  Please do not pay any duties as we will be unable to help you recover any payments you make in that regard. If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you as these should not be paid.

For South Korean Customers

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to South Korea that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and taxes that are payable however the duties are not.  Please do not pay any duties as we will be unable to help you recover any payments you make in that regard. If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you as these should not be paid.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

We do not provide return labels, you will be responsible for returning the item(s). Please email info@houseofblanks.com with your order number, reason for return, and return tracking number once it is shipped out.

Items returned within 14 days of their delivery date in as new unused condition will be eligible for a refund. Shipping and handling is not refundable and all sale items are final purchase. The company reserves the right to reject returns if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the customer is attempting to return worn items, return multiple items that were purchased with the intention of resale, or for any other exploitation of this return policy. All orders are required to be checked for damages and inaccuracies before the items are embellished. We are unable to process a return or exchange any items that have already been embellished.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your item(s) for any reason, please place a new order for those items and return the original item(s) to us. We will issue a refund upon receipt.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s). This includes the cost of the return label and any other import or brokerage fees that are applied when the return is shipping from outside of Canada. Any return that is shipped collect or requires the payment of courier/freight costs upon return will be refused and not accepted. We strongly advise your return shipment to have a traceable service, so it can be located at all times. Please note that the customer must retain the receipt of the return shipment until the product is received and refunded by houseofblanks.com. We only accept returns sent directly to the address below.

International Returns

If you are returning goods from outside of Canada (ie: United States), customs brokerage fees will be incurred in addition to the cost of the return label. We have secured a low rate of USD $15.00 for brokerage fees with UPS. Please note: This $15.00 fee is for brokerage only, this does not include the cost of the return label.

If you return the item(s) through UPS, the $15.00 brokerage fee will be deducted from your total refund amount after we receive the return. If you do not use UPS to return your merchandise, we may be billed more than USD $15.00 and will have to deduct that amount.

Order Changes/Cancellations

All order changes and cancellations need to be requested within 30 minutes of the order being placed. To request an order change or cancellation, please email info@houseofblanks.com with your order number so that someone can assist you. If you have requested for an order change or cancellation after the 30 minute time window, we will be unable to accommodate your request.

  • Email info@houseofblanks.com with your order number, reason for return, and the tracking number for the return package.

  • Place your return/exchange in the original packaging it came in or another carrier bag/box that is available to you.

    If you would like to exchange your item(s), please place a new order for those items and return the original item(s) to us. We will issue a refund upon receipt.

  • Bring the package to your preferred carrier to have it shipped back to us fully prepaid at:

  • Once we receive the package at our warehouse, each item will go through inspection. Any items that aren’t in their original condition (worn, used, damaged) will not be accepted.

  • Once inspection is complete, the refund will be processed and you will receive an email confirmation.

    Any brokerage or import fees that are paid by us to have the package released, will be deducted from your total refund amount.
